The Seahorse

I enjoyed painting this underwater-seascape. It is a mixed media painting done on a 12x24 gallery wrapped canvas with the painting extended on all sides for a more contemporary look.
I sprayed a glittery paint in a color called "Sparkling Waters" on the background, sealed it good to prevent the glitter from flaking off. Then I went about the business of painting my seahorse. It has just the right amount of texture and glitter. I plan on painting 2 companion pieces for this very soon !
